entry minus the quiz.
Alyson Renae Michalka known as Aly Rae Michalka.
So I spent some time trying to figure out exactly how my name came out, i'm not named after family and I couldn't think of anyone important that my Mom or Dad liked named Alyson. So over Thanksgiving I took some time out while my Mother was still sober to ask her. I guess it never really dawned on me before but once it did I had to admit I was rather curious. She went into this long story about how she got her name and how she wanted mine to be unique in the story instead of the name itself. Anyways, i'm named after Alice in Wonderland. Alice + In was how she said she came up with it. My name even means little Alice so I guess it makes sense in that way. My middle name has been changed in it's own way since I was younger, Renae was chosen with the meaning of "reborn" I never did get the real reason why I got that middle name but I did. But my Dad used to always mess with me and call me Alyson Rae instead and I would get really mad. I have no idea why, I just always wanted it said the right way.

ANYWAYS.

How did you get you name? and or, what does you name mean?

But yeah, bbl, Gossip Girl is on in like 30 minutes, Chuck and Nate ftw. Blair too, she's hot.

I'm feeling so good lately, I don't know why but i'm staying this way. Also, i've been realizing i'm kind of into Jordan lately, like we used to be pretty good friends and i'm just taking the time to discover I had a tiny crush on her? I don't know. Mitchel is back too, I hope were friends and all again, he was chill.

If you search a name meaning database, Nataleigh doesn't come up with any results, so I guess my parents were trying to put a spin of originality on an otherwise seemingly common name. But Natalie comes from the late Latin name Natalia which meant Christmas Day. Maybe that's why I like Christmas so much?

I have no idea where my name came from; probably they just liked the sound. I think my brother was after the comet.

I think it's weird they call you Rae instead of Renee though. That seems like a name change, not a nickname.
